The Amitié Sans Frontières network is based on a clear structure, organised around three complementary levels. At the international level, ASFI sets out the broad strategic direction, grants the necessary approvals for the creation of new network entities, and coordinates activities across different countries.
At national level, ASF associations are established in each country, subject to the approval of the ASFI Board of Directors. Each national entity operates in accordance with the legislation of its country, reporting regularly on its activities and management. Finally, at local level, community-based associations, often the successors to the original clubs, implement solidarity projects in towns or regions, in line with local circumstances and in accordance with the guidelines set at national and international level.
This gradual structuring, tailored to legal and cultural contexts, enables coherent and effective action that is firmly rooted in the needs of local communities. Each level of the network is legally autonomous but works in solidarity with the others, ensuring the unity of the project whilst leaving room for initiative.
